In the quiet neighborhood of Nutbush in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 37-year-old Marcus Murphy was tragically cut short on the evening of Sunday, May 16, 2021. Officers from the Memphis Police Department responded to a call and discovered Murphy with a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate medical attention and his transport to a nearby hospital, his injuries proved to be fatal.
