On a sidewalk in Alexandria, Virginia, the life of 25-year-old Elijah Keith Williams came to a tragic end in the early morning hours of March 23, 2022. Williams was discovered unresponsive in the bushes in the 4500 block of Raleigh Avenue around 6:50 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation by the medical examiner would later reveal that he died from upper body trauma, ruling his death a homicide. This incident marked the first homicide in the city of Alexandria for that year.
