In the late evening hours of a Monday in Woodbridge, Virginia, a gathering turned tragic, ending the life of 45-year-old Stonnie Ray Chavis. On September 23, 2019, Prince William County Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on E Street just before 10 p.m. Inside the home, they discovered Chavis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
