On October 28, 2024, in Woodbridge, Virginia, 56-year-old Brian Christopher Rose was fatally shot in his home during an altercation with his son, 29-year-old Christopher Tyler Rose. The incident also resulted in the death of the family's 1-year-old Labrador Retriever.
