On December 11, 1981, Gareld Dixon, age 69, was found dead after being shot twice in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place near the intersection of Windsor Avenue and Wentworth Road. Gareld suffered two gunshot wounds and a significant head injury. He was transported to St. Anthony's Emergency Room, where he succumbed to his injuries.
