Born on May 14, 1985, in Pulaski, Virginia, to Betty Henley Bishop and Timothy David Sams, Brandon was a dedicated U.S. Army combat veteran who honorably served for eight years, completing three tours—two in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He was known for his deep love for his children and family, his passion for motorcycles, and a sense of humor that endeared him to many.
