On June 10, 2021, Darren Husak, a 55-year-old white male from Franklinton, Louisiana, was fatally shot in Folsom, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Valley Court, where Husak had shown up at the residence of his ex-sister-in-law. Despite being repeatedly asked to leave, Husak remained at the property.
