In the late hours of a summer evening in Newport News, Virginia, tragedy struck. On June 9, 2020, Micah Z. Dixon, a 21-year-old Black man from Hampton, was shot and killed. The incident unfolded around 10:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Randolph Road.
