In the early morning hours of August 7, 2020, the life of 30-year-old Darius D. Clark was tragically cut short in the Norview section of Norfolk, Virginia. A Black male known affectionately to friends and family as 'Diesel,' Clark was discovered suffering from a gunshot wound on Edward Street after police responded to a call at approximately 2:10 a.m. He was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but ultimately succumbed to his wounds later that day.
