In the Barraud Park neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia, the evening of November 5, 2020, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police arrived at the 1300 block of Thistle Street around 5:30 p.m. in response to a gunshot disturbance call, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Isaiah Jerome Ward, a Black male from nearby Virginia Beach.
