Frank Thomas Smith, Jr., a 66-year-old resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 24, 2021, as a result of a shooting incident. The Lynchburg Police Department responded to a report of malicious wounding on Madison Street around 9:11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Smith with gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
