On Christmas night in 2018, a dispute in Campbell County, Virginia, escalated to a fatal shooting, ending the life of 46-year-old Carlton Stratton. The incident, which occurred at a residence on Cog Lane, cut short a day of holiday celebration for Stratton and his family. A male, Carlton Stratton, was shot and killed following a physical altercation.
