On a late summer evening in Lynchburg, Virginia, the life of 16-year-old Jessie Jimmy Paige Jr. was tragically cut short. The Black / African American male was shot and killed on August 15, 2015, in an incident near 13th and Pierce Streets that also left two others wounded. Paige, a rising junior at Heritage High School, was known for his love of sports and fashion, and was deeply cherished by his family.
