Benjamin Lee Friar, a 32-year-old man from Concord, Virginia, tragically lost his life on the night of November 28, 2018. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds at the James Crossing Apartments in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Lynchburg Police Department responded to reports of shots fired around 8:47 p.m. and discovered Friar's body in an apartment on Longview Road. Despite immediate efforts, Friar was pronounced dead at the scene.
