Anthony Cupec, 45, male, was shot in a parking lot near the intersection of Pierce Street and 12th Street in Lynchburg on the night of October 8, 2025. First responders transported him to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators identified him publicly the following day.
