In the early hours of September 16, 2018, the life of 18-year-old Keshawn Lamont Dickerson was tragically cut short in Lynchburg, Virginia. Just after midnight, gunshots echoed in the 2000 block of Third Street, prompting multiple 911 calls reporting a malicious wounding. When police arrived, they found Dickerson suffering from gunshot injuries. He was quickly transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his wounds and died there.
