On the evening of November 24, 2020, 48-year-old Lamark Andrae Williams, a Black male, was found deceased in a room at the Super 8 Motel on Candlers Mountain Road in Lynchburg, Virginia. An investigation revealed he had sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest. Mr. Williams, known to friends and family as 'P-nut' or 'Nut P,' was a native of Petersburg, Virginia.
