Shelton Riggins, a 67-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2021. The incident occurred in the 700 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., where Norfolk Police responded to a call about gunshots around 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Riggins suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but despite the medical team's efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
