On a Sunday evening in Norfolk, Virginia, tragedy struck when 67-year-old Shelton Riggins, a male resident of the city, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on April 18, 2021, in the 700 block of East Virginia Beach Boulevard. When police responded to a call about a gunshot disturbance, they discovered Riggins suffering from a gunshot wound.
