On March 12, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Norfolk, Virginia, resulting in the death of Kerry L. White, a 36-year-old resident of the city. The Norfolk Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of Walker Avenue, near Rockingham Street, in the afternoon.
