In the spring of 2021, the life of 21-year-old Daymeion Nakeese Carmon-Faison was tragically cut short. On the evening of May 2nd, police responded to a call about a shooting in the 200 block of Poplar Avenue in the Berkley section of Norfolk, Virginia. Upon their arrival around 8 p.m., they discovered Carmon-Faison suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
