Derrick Deshawn Roundtree, aged 46, tragically passed away on June 24, 2021, in Norfolk, Virginia. Derrick, affectionately known as "Boogie," was born on January 12, 1975, to Maurice Sawyer and the late Paulette A. Rountree-Hopkins. He was a Norfolk native, educated through Norfolk Public Schools, and held a certificate in Culinary Arts from Tidewater Community College.
