Leroy Clyburn Jr., aged 39, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2021, in Newport News, Virginia. According to reports, Newport News police responded to a call about a shooting in the 1000 block of 23rd Street around 2:23 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Clyburn suffering from a severe gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
