On the night of October 24, 2021, 24-year-old Dylan Poonsammy was fatally shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Rivertowne Apartments on Westover Hills Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia. Richmond Police responded to the scene around 9:50 PM, where they found Poonsammy, who was pronounced dead from his injuries.
