Death by Force

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Richmond Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1800 block of East Main Street in the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Shamar Trimmer, an African American male from Henrico County, lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
