In the quiet morning hours of July 6, 2021, a grim discovery was made in an alley in the 1100 block of North 34th Street in Richmond, Virginia. Responding to a call at approximately 9:05 a.m., Richmond Police officers found 50-year-old Kenneth 'Kenny' Tyler unresponsive. He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Tyler was a Black/African American male.
