On a tragic spring evening in Petersburg, Virginia, the life of 32-year-old Jaquan Donte Reid, known affectionately as 'Quanchee,' was cut short. On April 25, 2022, the beloved father of four sons was fatally shot after leaving Club 17. Despite his grievous injuries, Reid attempted to drive himself to the hospital. His journey for help ended tragically just a mile from the emergency room, where he was discovered deceased in his vehicle at a Marathon convenience store on South Crater Road.
