Samuel Jones, aged 66, was one of the victims in a tragic quadruple shooting that occurred on Maple Avenue in Portsmouth, Virginia, on June 7, 2022. Jones succumbed to his injuries a few days after the incident, making him the fourth person to die from the shooting. The other victims were identified as Georgio Davonta Lee, Oleisha Deanna Mears, and Ashley Merricks. The victims were not related but were believed to have lived together in the same house.
