In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Portsmouth, Virginia, the life of 37-year-old Stevie Wayne Wright was tragically cut short. On June 27, 2017, at approximately 3:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a man down at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Viking Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Wright suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso in the 3900 block of Greenwood Drive.
