Johnny Crawford, a 48-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, was tragically killed in the early hours of June 18, 2020. The incident occurred around 1:54 a.m. in the 40 block of Gilmerton Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Crawford with a gunshot wound to his torso. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
