Murdered

On February 17, 2019, at approximately 1:45 a.m., a shooting occurred outside Vibz Uptown, a nightclub located at 3155 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Jakari Lewis, a 28-year-old Hartford resident, was fatally shot in the parking lot as the club was closing. Two other individuals, a 29-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, were also injured in the incident. Lewis was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
