In the early hours of Memorial Day in 2020, the life of 26-year-old William Selfridge was tragically cut short in Portsmouth, Virginia. Responders were called to Charleston Avenue around 2:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. There they found Selfridge suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
