In the afternoon hours of February 16, 2023, Glenn Wallace, a 29-year-old male, was fatally shot on Dunedin Road in Portsmouth, Virginia. The incident prompted a homicide investigation by the Portsmouth Police Department, which quickly sought to identify those responsible for Wallace's death. The shooting occurred near the Hodges Manor Apartments, where Wallace was found deceased.
The investigation led to the identification of two individuals as persons of interest.
Shortly after the shooting, authorities arrested 23-year-old Diamond Woodhouse. She was subsequently charged with first-degree murder in connection with Glenn Wallace's death and was taken to jail. The second suspect, 24-year-old Rashad Walker, remained at large for nearly a year following the incident.
After an extensive search, Rashad Walker of Raleigh Avenue in Suffolk was located and taken into custody in January 2024. He was also charged with first-degree murder, bringing a significant development to the case that had remained partially unresolved for almost a year.
