Robert E. Artis Jr., a 28-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on June 1, 2019. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 1100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
