Oliver Windell Reid, Jr., aged 54, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2020, in Portsmouth, Virginia. The incident occurred in the early morning hours on Princeton Place, across from Maryview Hospital. According to police reports, officers responded to a call for assistance around 2:50 a.m. and found Reid with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
