In the spring of 2024, a burst of violence on a Portsmouth street cut short the life of Timothy Scott Jenkins, a 33-year-old man. The fatal encounter unfolded on Thursday, April 18, 2024, on Duke Street, where Jenkins was found deceased, a victim of gunfire.
Responding to the incident, the Portsmouth Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the deadly shooting. Their efforts soon led to the identification of a suspect.
Thomas Lee Little Senior, also 33 years old, was named in connection with Jenkins's death.
Authorities announced that Little is facing serious charges, including first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
