In the closing hours of Christmas Eve in 2019, a tragic shooting in Portsmouth, Virginia, claimed the life of 25-year-old Da’Jour Jonoid Collins, Sr., a male resident of nearby Virginia Beach. The incident, which cut short a young life, left a family and community in mourning during what should have been a festive time of year.
