On the evening of April 8, 2020, Curtis Walton, a 33-year-old male, was tragically killed in a shooting near the 3600 block of Columbia Street in Portsmouth, Virginia. The incident occurred near his childhood home. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 8:37 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, medics found Walton with injuries to his torso and transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
