Leo D. Franklin, aged 47, tragically lost his life on June 21, 2022, in Fredericksburg, VA. The incident occurred at the Red Roof Inn on Warrenton Road in Stafford County. On the morning of June 19, 2022, deputies responded to a call about a shooting at the motel. Upon arrival, they found Franklin suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite the immediate first aid provided by the deputies and subsequent medical attention at a local hospital, Franklin succumbed to his injuries.
