On an unfortunate evening in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 18-year-old Jessie Crumble-Bullock was tragically cut short. On August 13, 2022, the young Black / African American man was returning home from a corner store in the Gilpin Court area when he was pursued by an assailant who opened fire. As he sought refuge inside his home, the gunfire persisted, striking both him and his mother, Jessica Crumble. Both were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for their injuries.
