On March 10, 2010, 26-year-old Gavin Darius Pollard was gunned down in the East End of Richmond, Virginia. The incident occurred at the intersection of 27th Street and Nine Mile Road around 11:30 p.m. Pollard was found with life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he later died from his wounds on March 23, 2010. Despite the violent nature of the crime and early investigations, Pollard’s murder remains unsolved.
