On August 5, 2013, 31-year-old LeSean L. Cosby was shot and killed in Richmond, Virginia. Around 3:40 a.m., police responded to a report of gunfire near the intersection of 22nd and W Streets. Upon arrival, officers found Cosby suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Despite extensive efforts by law enforcement, including appeals for public assistance, no suspects have been identified, and the case remains unsolved.
