In the early morning hours of October 29, 2010, the life of 36-year-old James Lamont Louis, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. Just after 3 a.m., Richmond Police officers on foot patrol in the Mosby Court area heard the sound of gunshots. When they arrived at the 1900 block of Accommodation Street, they discovered Louis suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to VCU Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
