On November 6, 2016, William D. Norwood, also known as "Noony," was found fatally shot in Richmond, Virginia. Norwood, who had just celebrated his 30th birthday, was discovered at around 1:14 a.m. on Hull Street in the city's Southside. Police responding to reports of gunfire found him suffering from a gunshot wound, but despite efforts to save him, Norwood succumbed to his injuries.
