On March 5, 2023, Tyshawn Wyatt, a 25-year-old man from Richmond, Virginia, was tragically killed in a shooting in the Hillside Court neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Harwood Street on Richmond's Southside. Police responded to reports of gunfire just before 6 p.m. and found Wyatt suffering from a gunshot wound.
