Dontae Grissom, a 29-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 19, 2021. The incident occurred in the East End neighborhood of Richmond, specifically on the 1800 block of Rogers Street. According to reports, officers responded to a call about a shooting just before 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Dontae Grissom suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
