Bryan Taber Harvey was a 49‑year‑old white male musician and guitarist, frontman for the indie rock duo House of Freaks. On January 1, 2006, in Richmond, Virginia, he, his wife Kathryn and their two young daughters—Stella, aged 9, and Ruby, aged 4 —were brutally murdered in their home.
