Daniel Jacob Dean, a 27-year-old resident of Riverside, California, tragically lost his life on September 1, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the parking lot of a Chase Bank located on Magnolia Avenue. At approximately 4:28 a.m., the Riverside Police and Fire Dispatch Center received reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics discovered a gray sedan backed up against a tree with the engine still running.
Inside the vehicle, they found Daniel Dean, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Despite the efforts of the Riverside Fire Department, Dean was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was subsequently extradited to California and booked into the Riverside County Jail on charges of murder and attempted carjacking. Brown is currently being held without bail as the investigation continues.
