LeQuan D. Smith, a 15-year-old from Petersburg, Virginia, tragically passed away on August 14, 2022. LeQuan was born on September 12, 2006, and was known for his love of Ninja Turtles, wrestling figures, and his kind-hearted nature. He was affectionately described as a "nerd" by those who knew him. LeQuan grew up in the Sandy Acres area and was raised by Ruby Smith Spillman and Jayne Spillman until Ruby's untimely death.
On the day of his death, LeQuan was involved in a shooting incident.
