In the late summer of 2013, the life of a young man who had once fled civil war was tragically cut short on a street in Denver, Colorado. Harry Morgan, a 26-year-old Black male, was shot and killed on August 23, 2013. The incident occurred at 1540 Uinta Street, where officers responded to a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Morgan suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but the injuries he sustained proved to be fatal.
