In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the life of 22-year-old TreJoun Pierre Walker was tragically cut short. On October 14, 2023, the young Black man was attending a party at an industrial storefront in Denver, Colorado, when gunfire erupted. He was one of six people shot at the gathering, and one of three who succumbed to their injuries.
